A calming, texture-rich workshop inspired by the traditional Japanese art of kinusaiga. In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll create your own fabric mosaic using a no-sew technique that transforms fabric scraps into a beautifully detailed design.
No prior experience is needed.
What You’ll Do
During this workshop, participants will:
Learn the basics of kinusaiga (Japanese fabric inlay art)
Select a design and fabric color palette
Cut and tuck fabric into a pre-lined panel—no sewing required
Explore texture, layering, and color composition
Create a finished fabric mosaic piece to take home
