Create & Bind Your Own Junk Journal

Create, bind, and personalize your own junk journal in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop. Using a curated collection of vintage papers, ephemera, stickers, book pages, and decorative materials, you'll learn how to hand-bind a journal and fill it with creative pages that reflect your unique style.

Whether you're looking for a creative outlet, a place to collect memories, or simply a fun night of crafting, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, social, and welcoming to all skill levels.

No prior journaling or bookbinding experience is needed.

Please Note: This workshop ticket includes materials to create and bind a new journal. If you already have a journal and would like to join us just to use the supplies and create pages, please select the Supplies Only ticket option instead.

What You'll Do

During this workshop, participants will:

• Learn how to hand-bind your own journal

• Create a custom journal from scratch

• Explore layering, collage, and mixed-media techniques

• Work with vintage papers, decorative elements, and found materials

• Learn creative ways to add pockets, tags, flip-outs, and interactive pages

• Leave with a personalized journal ready to continue using and decorating at home

• Additional journaling ideas and inspiration will be shared to help you continue filling your journal after class.

Tickets are non-refundable, but if you can't attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else or apply it to the next meet up. If possible, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to arrange a transfer.
